Thought I would share with you the top 5 items I have in my make-up bag that I would recommend for you to try out!
Touche Eclat by Yves Saint Laurent
I use this religiously everyday! great under eyes to hide any dark circles. I also use it on my brow bone and cheek bones as a highlighter.
Definitely one to put on your list to Santa this year!
MAC Face and Body foundation
I first found this foundation on a trip to New York and haven't looked at another foundation for myself since. It's really light and doesn't feel like your wearing much. It has a clever element to it as well, the more you work it into the skin with a brush the thicker it gets so it can give great coverage if you need it to. They have a massive range of colours too. Great if you want a dewy natural looking base.
MAC Prep and Prime Powder
If you have oily skin or find that your makeup slides off your skin throughout the day get yourself a transparent finishing powder. My personal favourite is this Mac powder. I got sucked in at first because this range comes with a glittery box.( I'm a sucker for cool packaging) It's a good product that I usually use if I'm going on a night out to stop my skin looking shiny.
Tea Tree stick
This is a really inexpensive product that I use to "ZAP" my spots regularly. Its Superdrugs own brand of tea tree products and it works just fine. I apply it to my spots once in the morning and at night before bed and it usually calms them down within a couple of days. I used to use the body shop tea tree products but this costs less and works just as well. It has a strangely satisfying sting to it when it goes on too.
Estee Lauder Mascara - Sumptuous Extreme
This mascara doesn't have any gimmicks with it, no funny shaped wand! I'm not a fan of mascaras that have funny shaped wands.Nothing wrong with a good old fashioned style wand. ( rant over) It makes your lashes really full and it doesn't go everywhere it stays put (unless your having a complete emotional break down). When you put it on the bottom lashes it doesn't come off under your eyes and spoil the work you have already done with the touche eclat highlighter which I find some mascaras do.
